I am Bre, born BreAnn Marie Klaas in January, 1987. I am the eldest of three children, a Texas-born Midwestern girl. I value family, education, hard work and compassion. Turn the page over and I value laughter, love, music and art. I am as complex as any woman and just trying to enjoy the ride on this train called “Life”.
I grew up in a small(ish) town in Iowa: Marshalltown. At one time it was said to be the Meth Capitol of America. Well, that’s chipper news… Actually that statement is pertinent to my life because both of my parents have been affected by that monstrous drug and have lived to tell the tales of how atrocious that drug really is. You’ll learn more about them later.
I graduated high school in 2005 and have since become a nurse. I currently work full time as a Licensed Practical Nurse and am anticipating obtaining my bachelor’s degree. Nursing is a huge part of my life and I can honestly say I love my job. Of course, there are rough days and it isn’t exactly a low stress job but a little piece of my heart belongs to each one of my patients (residents, clients… whatever).
